Want to grow a garden but don't have a yard? Join a Community Garden.

Community Gardens are a wonderful way to not only have space to grow your own super healthy foods, but to meet other people in your community who are like minded.  Generally, a community garden is a plot of land divided into small garden plots.  You "rent" a plot for the growing season which usually includes your water needs.  Then you plan, plant, weed, tend, and harvest from your plot.  They are wonderful places to visit, and you meet so many lovely people when you become involved.  The Grace Shehi garden by Basalt High school is taking applications for this summer.  See the flyer here.
