I am so excited to announce that I have partnered with the Blue Ridge Summit Library to host a screening of Food, Inc. 2 on August 11th followed by a discussion. This film is an update to the very popular film Food, Inc. It explores issues around the food system in America including;
The health impacts of our current food system
Vulnerability to shortages
Working conditions and wages for those delivering food to us
The control large businesses have over our food
Priorities, policies, politics, and tax dollar spending on food
This is a pilot project. I hope you will join us to show the library that our community is interested in learning about health so we can have more screenings in the future.
